Permutation Patterns 2009 - Call for papers
A special issue of the journal "Pure Mathematics and
Applications" will be devoted to the proceedings of
the conference "Permutation Patterns 2009". The
guest editors will be Mike Atkinson and Luca Ferrari.
Authors are requested to send their articles in pdf
format to the email address
ferrari@dsi.unifi.it. Submission of an article
implies that the work has not been previously
published nor it is under consideration for
publication elsewhere. Deadline for submission is 31
January 2010. Please insert "PP09" in the subject
of your message. Papers submitted for this special
issue will be refereed by two anonymous referees,
according to the usual standards.
We remark that this special issue is not just for
papers presented at the
conference and other submissions on permutation
patterns are welcomed. In particular, topics of
interest include (but are not limited to)
enumeration questions, excluded pattern questions,
study of the involvement order, algorithms for
computing with permutation patterns, applications
and generalizations of permutation patterns, and
others.
